Hello friend; thanks for stopping by! My name is Jessa, and I’m a pilot’s wife. My greatest adventure started my freshman year of high school when I met my (now) husband, Andrew. It wasn’t that classic story where we bumped into each other in the hallway and it was love at first sight. Oh no! We had just started our marching band career (he played trumpet and I was on the flag team). During one of our show run throughs we found out that had I twirled my flag just a tad bit more his mom’s trumpet, that he had been playing, would have had a new dent in it. After that we became buddies, and three months later we decided to try our hands at dating (mind you we were 14 and 15, and hadn’t dated before). Fast forward nine years and we are living the newly-wed life!

I wanted to write this blog because I simply love making new friends. Who doesn’t right? I wanted to create a place, a community, where would could all laugh, get advice, talk to a friend, and kick our feet up and relax. I wanted a space where I could share my wildest adventures, successful and hilarious creative fails, and just give you a taste of what it is like to be married to a pilot. I promise I don’t bite; so, if you have any blog ideas, creative projects or recipes I should try, give me a shout out! I would love to document these ventures and show you how it turned out!
